Mandatory Energy Audits with Solar PV Loans Applications

As part of the plan to boost energy efficiency applications in Lebanon, the submittal of an energy audit study will become a mandatory prerequisite when submitting a NEEREA request loan for solar photovoltaic systems applications. Accordingly, all entities aiming at receiving a subsidized NEEREA loan for a solar photovoltaic system with a capacity of 60 kW or more will need to include a detailed energy audit study of the facility. This new prerequisite will be detailed in a memorandum to be issued soon by the LCEC.
